Our company is one of the leading European exporters of first class pregnant pedigree heifers. Our expertise covers the whole field of dairy farming. Starting with the delivery of healthy pedigree cattle.

In close cooperation with the buyers’ selection committee, Van der Ploeg International B.V. will select the animals to the customers’ specifications. Selection will take place at the farm of origin or in our export stables. All animals will be acompanied with an official pedigree certificate, in which is mentioned at least three generations with their production figures.

 

Black and White Holstein Friesian
The Black and White Holstein Friesian breed finds its origin in the Dutch province Friesland, The same province as where Van der Ploeg International has its head office. From this province, the famous Black and White cattle have been exported all over the world.

The Black and White Holstein Friesian breed is well-known for high milk production. This high milk production is combined with high fat- and protein content.

Dutch Red and White
The Dutch Red and White breed originates from Dutch MRIJ double purpose breed from which the majority have been cross bred during the last 20 years with Red Holstein.

The Dutch Red and White breed excels in a sound constitution and good adaptability under various climatic conditions. This breed combinates high milk production with durability.
